Together\, they translate big climate challenges into small\, doable habits that feel empowering instead of intimidating – a message that resonates deeply right now. \nThis event also marks the launch of the Agawam Rotary Club’s new monthly speaker series\, reflecting Rotary’s long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship and community education. \nDuring the talk\, Kimberly and Luna will share their concept of “Everyday Climate Commitments” – simple\, household-level choices that add up when practiced collectively\, including: \n\nReducing food waste and keeping it out of the trash\nEating more plant-based meals (without perfection or pressure)\nEliminating single-use items through practical\, local alternatives\n\nTheir perspective is shaped in part by time spent living in Denmark\, where sustainable choices are built into daily life.
